So yeah, had nothing to do and already cruised the auctions for Pearl or KitM fillies, so I decided to use a couple straws from DSW Play With My Heart with my 'extra' mares I have still unbred this season.

The first was a boring chestnut 12.1c Blue filly out of a bay foundation mare, which I promptly named with the first thing that came to mind. lol

I was hoping for bay sabino with that first cross, so I tried again with a 2G Blue papered white spotted silver bay splash mare, and got my first *Gold! And she's the bay sabino I wanted! :x

RR Its Gonna Be Me UE

She and her sister are going to stay intact and join my 'Show Bird' barn of bootstrapped babies to see how they grow out. I'm thinking they will cross really well to one of Surfer Bird's sons in a few 'years'. And I am totally saving my other Play straws for a few of my Blue mares next season. :D
