    I was playing with the HH and Wild Bay showed up, I like this HH as it can throw some fun colors. Today I got this lovely boy, but he papered Showable Only. I am devastated. I did take some straws from him to play with and see what happens, but I did do the responsible thing and geld him.

    I made this exceptional show horse mare this morning. She’s black, which isn’t a very common color so I was pretty excited (got a pale chestnut and a bay as my other two shares) and of course this was the one who papered Failed! Oh well, she was meant to be a show pony anyway....

    Out of curiosity, does anyone know what controls roaning? Some have spots, like Paprika, others have heavy roaning, and others you can hardly tell. Since roaning is a Kit gene, is it controlled by white factor? I'd love to get those dark spots with any sort of predictability.

    HTR, I don't know how white factor affects roan, but I remember when those "corn spots" first came out as a color option they were THE big thing! EVERYone wanted Blue corn roan, or Strawberry corn roan!
