Can't GMT a horse

I'm sure I'm missing something...
I have a 3 year old PF stallion that hasn't been bred. I was able to give him a boost, but can't seem to modify anything else. Says something about an error accruing.

That's what it was. I missed a step. I bought the IVs, but then forgot to go and buy the tokens. I had some, thought I had enough, I did, but forgot that step, lol.
I'm not sure what to add, it's all too expensive. Will go through my herd and start selling....
