Tightening up my lines...
-
All of my 2g yellow papered girls got snipped. They will be nice show ponies. I am wanting to get my 3g girls to be all blue but is that kind of unrealistic?
-
Nope, not unrealistic. Depending on your lines and how many G2's you are breeding, you can get quite a few blue G3 mares. I've got 6 blue out of 11 G3 fillies that I've bred myself.#28036

I don't keep red 3g mares... Though I also get 2-3 hundred foals a month and try each time in vane to widdle them down to under a dozen intacts. All into high quality black based primitive duns and bootstraps.

I did the same thing. I made show horses out of all B papered colts and almost all Red papered 3g mares.
Sadly, I have only two A papered 2g colts and no Blue fillies.understand the significance of signatures -
I keep some red papered G3 mares, but only if it's a new line and I don't have many blues yet. I'll spay them once I have enough blues
