Personally I think that brindles are pretty looking horses to have in your barn. You cannot be guaranteed a brindle by breeding them together, although it does increase the odds apparently. An altered brindle is the same as a intact one in my opinion.

I'd say it's not worth it. At least if he were mine he'd be a gelding. Even with a 5% boost he'd at best be a B (not guaranteed, he could still be a C) from a B sire and there's little chance he'd be superior. I decided this year to not sacrifice quality for beauty...

but then again... lol :)) I had the same problem with this guy except he was B papered before the boost and he's still B papered after the boost but he's superior so he's my only exception
