Is there a reason that the hoof polish options wont transfer over to another horse with the rest of the tack?

I'm trying to match my pony mares up by giving them the same tack get up as their pony stud. I have to keep adding the hoof polish onto the mares.

Doesnt seem to matter the size of the horse. I've done ponies to ponies, ponies to horses, and warmbloods.

I have noticed this as well. I can only imagine it has something to do with the clear/black hoof polish still being in the works. Or maybe a command is blocking the colored hoof polish from transferring. Not the most helpful answer, but I thought I would mention the idea.
