Upgrading to Premium from basic?

    If I currently have a basic upgrade could I sell that back to the game for IV's and then get the premium upgrade?

    There seems to be an option to on the upgrade page....but premium accounts can only be bought with real money, just so you know.

    I saw the link to sell back upgrades just didnt know if I'd get the IV's back when I upgraded or if I should sell it back and then upgrade or how it works out best. I could really use the IV's to turn into GMTs.

    It doesn't hurt to keep left-over time for a Basic Upgrade when you decide to move to Premium. Sometimes Paypal, which handles the monthly cost, has glitches, or a credit card expires, and your Premium upgrade can disappear temporarily, until the issue with Paypal gets straightened out. Having the Basic benefits prevents your account from bouncing all the way back to the features for free accounts, even though you will not have all the Premium features available.

    That makes sense. Thanks Sandy. I was mostly wondering if I would totally lose the time that I bought with the Iv's by upgrading with money or if it would still be there.

    If you do upgrade and everything goes smoothly it might be worth it to sell your remaining basic account back to the game for IVs to save up for barns or GMTs. That's what I did when I bought my upgrade and got a 90 stall barn out of it :D
