    I remember using a chestnut appaloosa hh and got a liver who passed from that! But usually when they pop up they don't....

    I rolled the dark chestnut herd helper and maxed it out. I got 3 livers that passed. It was my lucky day.

    It may just be selective memory, but I have often thought that the horses I create that I most hope will get through testing intact because they chance to have some special random gene are the most likely to be snipped. Oh, well, I've picked up some very striking show horses that way. :D

    If you all are looking for liver chestnut I know there are a few players,including myself who would help. The best way, if you want to start from scratch, is to stalk FR. Don't look for liver just look for homo sty mares and a homo sty stallion in the body type you want. GMT the stallion to be het or homo DP and just breed. If you cull for testing and color you should get homo DP by the 3rd generation.

    But yeah, often the one horse I'm looking for from the HH gets snipped. That excitement to disappointment is one of the worse feelings.
