unaltering
-
i recently purchased this colt and i was going over some breeding advice and he was gelded. i didn't realize i had put him through this by mistake. can i alter him with gmt's?

No, sorry. You can only unalter horses that you bred yourself.
-
oh well he's still beautiful and should make a good show horse.
-
I would really want a colt up there to paper star for you. Still sad to see him snipped. :( Pretty boy. I have a satin low star colt that I am going to add missed sooty plus to and take off tobi that I could sell straws to if it would help.

yes. please. i am trying to get satin in my herd.
-
Hm, I should have looked at your mares first, star is too high to get intact foals from your girls. Sorry. The B boy would have served you better. Maybe you can see if you can pay his breeder to unaltered him for you. Think that works since only the breeder can do that. All into high quality black based primitive duns and bootstraps.Thanked by 1wendolyne

It looks like you got an even 3G B papered hom satin colt from the auction, so I wouldn't try to get this one unaltered. You've already got an intact B satin colt who's got a nice pedigree and is much lower gen than the colt who got snipped.

@Wildland Acres: do you have any satin mares you would like to sell?
-
None at the moment. I try not to breed for satin, so I usually don't keep them unless they are really keepers. All into high quality black based primitive duns and bootstraps.
