So i bought a mare named Damsel In Satin PJ4 from abbey. She is a satin carrier if i bred her to a satin stallion would her foal have satin?Life is Special live it to your fullest

Nothing is ever 100% unless both parents are Homozygous for the gene. Could get just a carrier, get a homozygous for the gene, or miss it all together: all like the roll of dice, lots of different variables. Then you have to see if it passes SAT and SMA or Gelding.

If the stallion is sasa, there's a 50% chance that the foal would be homozygous and show the satin (it's recessive).
