Red papered mares...
-
What do I do with them? I have about 4 blue papered 4g mares that I am keeping intact. I am not sure what to do with the other 4g mares that papered red. Do I breed them with one of my B papered 4g studs?
-
@best friend, you can do whatever you please with them. You can do as you mentioned and breed them to 4G B papered stud or breed them to a 2G B papered stud or you could breed them to a Star* papered stallion with the intention of getting show ponies or you could spay them and add them to your show herd. The possibilities are numerous and, ultimately, the decision is totally up to you.

You can do whatever you want. Right now I'm moving my red mares all into the 2g or quality herd, and will be working on culling later. There are some I will keep and just treat as 2g, but I don't need as many "2g" mares as I have reds! Do whatever you would like with them. Any B stud should do, and you could breed to something else if you wished too! :)All into high quality black based primitive duns and bootstraps.
