Unevenly bred Hz KP colt - advice please!

Hey all!
I bred a homz KP colt as I was testing if the mare was het for KP, by breeding to a foundation HzKP rank special stallion. She is Gen8..
Am I best to just geld and keep as a showie/sell or keep intact and sell? Are there KP breeders who are comfortable to breed horses with such a generation gap?
I'm happy just to geld as I won't breed from him, but thought I'd see before I did.
He papered A and PT'd 11...
