    All horses will be homozygous recessive(VV) for the varnish gene, and at least heterozygous (LlpL) for the appaloosa gene. They might also be homozygous (LlpLlp) for the appaloosa gene. All base colors are possible. Horses might also have other patterns.

    This herd helper triggers the following primary herd helpers
    Homozygous Rec. Varnish Heterozygous Appaloosa
    Breeding high quality Sheldasen horses. Liver chestnut, DP mushroom, and rose gray riding horses. Dun cobs with all the patterns. Watercolor, Wrong Warp and ice on mixed body types.
