This page allows you to order a gene for any applicable horse in the game owed by any player. The owner of the horse will receive the gene license for any closed genes. You may modify the genetics of any horse that is unbred, gene tested, foundation and not a clone. To make the horse homozygous for a gene, add strand one to the cart, then return to this page to add strand two.

It is your responsibility to double check that you have selected the right horse, owned by the right player.

Snowdrop

Gene Example and Info: The snowdrop allele is a cream gene mutation functionally the same as the pearl allele. It restricts pigment body wide. It requires two copies to show or can create a pseudo-double dilute effect when paired with the cream allele. Will also create a pearl effect when combined with pearl or sunshine alleles. This gene has no sharing restrictions.

Splash White 3

Gene Example and Info: This rare variant of splash causes bold white face and leg markings but is lethal when homozygous making it a challenge to breed for. Counts as a pinto gene. This gene has no sharing restrictions.

Tiger Eye 1

Gene Example and Info: Tiger Eye comes in two variations TE1 and TE2. Both act in the same way and can be mixed and matched (max two per horse). The Tiger Eye gene reduces the amount of pigment in the eye. One copy reduces pigment slightly and may be unnoticeable. Two copies boldy reduced pigment resulting in eyes ranging from orange to blue depending on genetics. This gene has no sharing restrictions.

Halo Varnish

Gene Example and Info: Halo is an allele of the varnish regulator 2 gene. It causes progressive varnishing at the edges of appaloosa spots. Does not require standard varnish to show. Shows best on het LP horses with larger spot sizes. Semi-dominate gene. One copy require to show, two copies has a larger effect. This gene has no sharing restrictions.

Phantom Apple Picking

Gene Example and Info: Fill up your bushel basket with Phantom Apple Picking. This gene will add apple spots to white pinto markings. Only requires one copy to show. Available for purchase in September and October only. This gene is closed. You will receive a breeder's license for this gene when you make this purchase. You will not be able to share this gene to unlicensed players.

Rainbow Riot Nacre

Gene Example and Info: Causes an iridescent mother of pearl appearance. Only requires one copy to show. Caution: This is an allele of the rainbow riot gene and will overwrite other rainbow riot alleles like paintbrush or plaid. Safe with Rainbow Riot 2 alleles. This gene is closed. You will receive a breeder's license for this gene when you make this purchase. You will not be able to share this gene to unlicensed players.
