Ok so I bred two ROF RS together and got this beautiful baby girl. I can't tell if she has DP, mainly because she is black based. She could possibly be het or hom dp. All of her babies are eE, double sooty, het At.

It's basically impossible to tell whether she is get het or hom because of the cremello. Only way to know is to breed her to a hom dp stud a few times and see what the babies carry.

So this guy is the closest coloration I can see to your filly.

He's probably het DP and it's my guess your filly is too.

As for your mare, she's petty much the same shade of cream as this ROF mare who happens to be perlino. There's 3 or 4 like this. So I'm guessing your mare is het DP like both of her parents.

Thanks for the info! I knew finding out whether the girl would be dp is hard because she's EE, which is why I posted her foals who make me think "Perhaps she does have at least 1 copy"...

I had both of the perlino girls open and was flipping back and forth, back and forth, back and forth....sometimes that's the only way to do it!

I don't think your girl is DP. This girl is het DP.

They look soo close. I guess when I go to GMT him into a her i'll see if the DP is an option. His sire is a chocolate palomino.

Or maybe I'll keep him a boy and use the GMT to add on the DP and Kitm that he missed.
