How do I find out the generation of my studs and mares? Sorry for all of the questions but I still don't know how to read everything yet.

It means you have not used gelding advice on him. He might be a really bad breeder.Need to contact me? Read this first. Only send me a PM for PayPal issues or if I ask you to. Otherwise, make a forum post. You will get a better faster answer by making a post.
I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )

Still how do I know the generation he is. I haven't figured that out yet

He is foundation. You can see that by clicking on the family tab. He has no listed parents, so he is foundation. Second generation will show parents on the family page. (Most people here prefer even generation breeding, but some breed high gens to foundations to get good showhorses, or just don't mind what generations they breed together.) Third generation will show parents and grandparents, etc.
