Current Lifetime Payout meaning?
-
Hi, could anyone do me a favour and explain what the lifetime payout figure is please? I’ve searched the wiki and the forum and can’t seem to find the answer!
Thanks -
Hi, no problem.
The current lifetime payout is the amount of money a horse would earn if it does no more training and dies at the first available rollover. This is the minimum amount this horse can earn for the rest of it's life.
Things like showing twice a week and training once a week will increase this amount. When a horse is about the same age as their pt score you will see the highest number of their lives.
Coming back to add. Once a horse is 10 years old they will be entered in the auction for CLP instead of minimum bid.45120Thanked by 1Seraphim falls -
Oh I see, so it’s the daily payout x number of days left until rollover and with the older ones it’s a gamble that they won’t die at rollover?
-
Right. Some horses live well in to their 30s with the CLP resetting each month. Every horse that can has a 1 in 5 chance of passing at the end of the month.45120Thanked by 1Seraphim falls

Cool, thanks so much!
