Preferred Colors and Patterns: must be red based. Prefer with white genes including tobiano, W15, W29, W2, SB1. Belton spotting and roan encouraged. Cream and mushroom are frequent. Hom sty and DP are ideal. Fantasy genes allowed: toner, paintbrush cool, void. Would be open to add others.
Acceptable Colors and Patterns: gray is allowed. Can be appaloosa if it happens. Snowflake is predominant due to foundation horses. Splash is allowed. Frame and W2 can be on mares but not stallions (to prevent lethal foals).
Undesirable Colors and Patterns: trying to avoid fewspot appaloosas. No champagne.

Breed Goals: riding ponies that are red-based, flashy, and paper higher than previous generation (as possible).
Notes/Comments: based on a breed i made up in high school when HARPGs were popular on deviantart. The theory is that both Locust Breeds are from the same island, which is half desert (riding ponies) and half forest (cobs). The island owner brought a variety of horses from different breeds to create their ideal cob and riding pony type.

Notes/Comments: I do primarily pasture breeding. You may do pasture or lab breeding, as long as you are maintaining even generations and consistently improving the quality of your herd. Doubleskunk horses must pass strict testing requirements to remain in the program (correct paper level, superior to parent, AGA the benchmark horse for that generation). If you don't have the upgrade to achieve all levels of testing, you can still ask about affiliation.

I absolutely love this idea!! I have 5 breeds, but none of them are at cap yet, as I just started playing in November. I will only be sharing two of them below, as these are the ones that can be started anywhere.
