Introducing the Curly Horse BC - Write the description and win 5 GTs!
-
You have been asking for YEARS and we finally have been able to answer. Curly horses have arrived in the game!
-This BC is out now! It is already available to everyone with a BC sub or can be unlocked for 5 GTs/1000 IVs
-It is for medium and heavy-bone horses.
-This contest will end on Friday
I need a roughly 250-character-long blurb about the Curly Horse breed (about 3 sentences). It must be between 200 and 300 characters long. This is strictly enforced and I will toss out anything less than 200 or more than 300 characters.
Please use a Character Counter to confirm your length before posting.
https://wordcounter.net/character-count
Lots of examples of what I am looking for can be seen on the BC unlock page.
You have until early on Friday to submit your entries. I will pick one winner whose entry I like best to win 5 golden tokens.
Good luck!
If you pick up the curly BC please post your favorites below! :xNeed to contact me? Read this first. Only send me a PM for PayPal issues or if I ask you to. Otherwise, make a forum post. You will get a better faster answer by making a post.
I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )

Oh this is a profoundly exciting BC!
My attempt at a bio:
"Discovered wild in Nevada in 1932, Curly Horses have a curly coat like that of a poodle. Their hypoallergenic qualities, intelligent minds, and tough constitution have made them exceptionally popular as both purebred horses and captured mustangs." -
"Although their origins are still a mystery, the Curly can be traced to the Damele family of Nevada in early 1900s. They are known to be intelligent, friendly and trainable. With their work ethic and heart, they excel in competition. Their curly coat makes them eye catching in the ring and out."
My first attempt at writing one of these. It's so hard to keep it short enough. :-))The BC isn't showing up for me yet though.Showing up now.
Here's a couple of my favorites:
2AH Perfect Disco
I think it looks particularly exceptional on chimeras.

These are both slightly similar but also slightly different. I couldn’t decide which one was better so I included both versions.
(283) The Curly Horse, also known as the North American Curly or Bashkir Curly, is a rare breed known for its unique curly coat, hypoallergenic qualities, and hardiness. Originating in North America, it is intelligent, versatile, and used in various disciplines, from riding to ranch work.
(271) The Curly Horse, known for its unique curly coat, is a rare and hypoallergenic breed. Originating in North America, it has roots in both Native American and Russian lineage. Curly Horses are known for their hardiness, calm temperament, and versatility in riding and work.
Edit: Not sure if I did this well but I rewrote my two entries above to combine the most important information from both into one. And this is the result…

Thank you for mentioning Native American lineage! So many people overlook it and it’s so important. I hope the chosen blurb has a mention of itContinuing my reign as the most annoying player on the forums and hgg’s favorite butch lesbian cowboy

Oh danggit. I think any of the above has terrific potential, and whatever I would come up with would pretty much look plagiarised as it would say almost identically the same. Good luck Ammit!
I do LOVE the curlies. Great job!
Pocket Full O Posies is just too stinking adorable -he looks like a mini trouble maker!HJ2, Forest Server Player ID#25193 - DoubleMash2 Sunalta (Main breed), Khan Chocloate line of Pura Raza Española, and *new* Kilkenners line of Irish Draft. Sorry for the delay. Our winner is:
Sure footed and intelligent, the Curly horse stands out among horse breeds as a versatile and eye catching mount. Its most well known characteristic is its curly coat, mane and tail. Though its exact origin remain a mystery, it is thought to have originated from wild herds in the plains of Nevada.
