This horse is an example of an issue I've seen a few times. The bay points confined to the joints are lovely! But there's a black line connecting them across the leg, like the leg is too thick for the area defined for base shade.
No hurry, I bet y'all are working on this already, but i had a good example and wanted to share.
Have noticed to a lesser degree on national medium BC as well. Don't have enough wild bay national light horses to know if it's a problem with them. -
It's intentional. Note the black on the front legs of these horses.
