game art topic about frames?
-
the new art update re-sparked this topic for me.
I remember way back when the frame pattern was very cut out, vs now its soft and undefined.
I was wondering why that is? (other than the coding needing more time than what Ammit and Co. have available)
frame/overos have many different pattern outlines and most of them, in my opinion anyway, aren't the soft fuzzy looking kind especially without other patterns like sabino affecting it.
I miss the old frame pattern.----

I am very forgetful so if I owe you anything but am taking to long please send me a PM. I don't get on to play the game as often as I once did but I am usually most active during the 2nd and 3rd week of each month -
They’ve been fuzzy for a long time now, I think it’s a minor issue that needs fixing. I think I remember someone bringing it up before. You’re right that frame is often sharpe edged in real life. I breed lots of frame horses, and they’re all fuzzy. I’m sure Ammit and team will sort it out eventuallyContinuing my reign as the most annoying player on the forums and hgg’s favorite butch lesbian cowboy

Maybe it's an interaction with some other genes then? I noticed over the summer that they started looking very fuzzy, almost like the white patterns were out of focus. They used to have "crisper" edges, even if the pattern was jagged.~Purveyor of the finest riding horses in Rakia~

We did not change them this summer. I am guessing you were looking at rather old generation before. My logs says it was last updated 5/7/2020.
I am not saying it might not need some work but just sharing there is absolutely nothing new with frame.Need to contact me? Read this first. Only send me a PM for PayPal issues or if I ask you to. Otherwise, make a forum post. You will get a better faster answer by making a post.

It changed ages ago, but I wouldn't have thought years ago? Maybe it was lol! But yes at some stage the lines/edges on it went all fuzzy instead of clearly defined, it's probably more obvious to some now with every image regenerating. I'd love if it could go back to being more clearly defined, but I don't have a heap of frame so hadn't really followed it up as an issue
