Introducing Golden Tokens - Now with "Unexceptional" status

You can now purchase Golden Tokens on the upgrade page. Each token costs 5 USD and will be used for quality-of-life features around the game. Golden tokens will never be available for IVs. They will always be little nice things to have, and never be things that give you an advantage over other players.
Right now, you can use them to purchase the specific herd helper you are looking for and to change your account name.
There are lots of other features planned for these like increasing the size of your barns, removing exceptional status from herd helper creates, collecting straws from your deceased stallions etc. I have no eta on any of these features but I wanted to give you an idea of what golden tokens will be used for. As I find appropriate places and times I will work to slip lots of little purchase options with GTs in.

October 21st update:
You now have the ability to clone your former horses that have passed on. If you were the breeder of a horse, and the last owner you can now use golden tokens to clone them. You will still need to pay the normal IV fee. On top of that, you pay a minimum one golden token. The longer ago your horse was created the more it costs to clone them. Anything created in the past 3 real-life years is only one token.
All the same typical cloning rules apply.

October 22nd Update
You can now use golden tokens to obtain straws/eggs from archived horses. Just like cloning the price varies by how long ago the horse was created but anything recent will be just 1 gt. There are no additional fees for synthesized gametes. You must be the most recent owner to use this feature.

October 25th Update
Along with yesterday's updates to how boosting is paid for you can now also find "Unexceptional" as one of your boosting options on foundations. This will turn ANY unbred foundation into a perfect foundation of the current era. Want to start making your shiny foundations for the December new era now? Want to turn your favorite exceptional herd helper into a normal one? Want to turn that clone of a not-amazing ability, but perfect genetics older foundation into a perfect one? Now you can!
Unexceptional status costs 1 gt and can be found with breeding boosts.Need to contact me? Read this first. Only send me a PM for PayPal issues or if I ask you to. Otherwise, make a forum post. You will get a better faster answer by making a post.

Just out of curiosity as I couldn’t find the answer how many straws/eggs do you get per GT? Love this idea and plan on using it at some point lolID 53752 Breeding ponies of all sizes and lots of pretty colors!Thanked by 1Summervine

Boost tokens have been removed from the game, and all boost tokens held in accounts converted to their IV value.
When boosting, you now use IVs or Golden Tokens directly without the "middle man" step of boost tokens. Prices have not changed in any way. You still pay the same amount of IVs or USD for the same amount of boosting. I just cut out the boost token step.
This step was made to help simplify came coins. Expect a similar change to happen to BC coins soon. You can also see a sneak peak of the new Unexceptional modification coming soon that can convert ANY unbred foundation to a perfect foundation of the current era, removing any boosts or exceptional status.Need to contact me?
