WOOOOOO IT'S HAPPENING!

To enter, simply reply to this thread with a linked image of your horse (found on the bottom of each horse's page) and the category you wish to compete in: Highest PT or Highest Monthly Points Earned.
Note that Highest PT horses should be less than 2 years old.
Each horse you enter must be in its own post.

Spectators, you play a role too! "Like" the horse(s) you like best to contribute to our "Best In Show" Categories! (Full list of these can be found here: https://hj2.huntandjump.com/forum/discussion/92917/amateur-competition-seeking-sponsors#Item_23)

The Rules:
Horses and their parents must not be maxed or boosted.
All entries must have been bred or created by their exhibitor.
Competitors can only win up to 2 awards per category.
Must have less than 5 top 10 LB placements in the last 12 months.
Must have no top 3 stallions or mares in the last 24 months.
Futurity award winners are allowed.
Backwards breeding award winners are allowed.

Awards will be assigned to categories once we know how many entires we have, but you can find a whole list of the offerings here: https://hj2.huntandjump.com/forum/discussion/92917/amateur-competition-seeking-sponsors#Item_23

Awards will be announed on the 28th. May the odds be in your favor!

Do you mean that awards from the Futurity and Backwards Breeding do not count against the LB total award restrictions?

Yes, exactly! Those awards are currently open to all levels of players, because of how futurity works, and backwards breeding not being super popular yet and not benefitting from maxing or boosting. So we feel you can be an "amateur" and still be successful in those categories, and that shouldn't be penalized.

Is highest monthly points, is that known as year on the search? Are these also yearlings?

Yes, it will be listed as year on the horse's page(s). And no, points earned entries can be any age! :)

@Minute That would take you out of the running for any Best In Show awards, because they're popular vote based, and votes are gathered throughout the whole month. You can generally tell who your top points earners will be by or within the 2nd week of the month. :) I'd enter them then.

Does that mean in each BC like say, warmbloods, i can enter 1 horse for highest pt and 1 for highest earnings? Can the same horse be entered into both categories?

Also, thanks for organising this! I can’t wait to see everyone’s babies that are competing :x

@Shamroc, 2 entries for each category! So 2 for PT and 2 for highest points earned. Potential of 4 horses total. And yes, you could enter a horse in both, but I think foals will be unlikely to win highest points as the competition gets more popular. :)

The rules are listed in the comment post box every time you post.

Posting Rules: Please make your posts legible by using proper capitalization and punctuation, and avoiding chat speak.
For example, use normal capitalization and not all caps or no caps.
One punctuation mark will do. "!" is excited. "!!!!" or "???" is unnecessary.

Yes, I'm aware of them. I've used proper punctuation and appropriate, legible formatting to my knowledge, so I'm not sure which rule I broke. :) Just clarifying so I know for future.
