Hey VG. I definately feel much the same. Hopeless, listless and generally down in the dumps. The weather has been hot here too. It is making it difficult to do stuff in the day, then I'm getting down because my job list is only getting longer.
What I'm trying to say in a roundabout way is you're not alone.

Hunt and Jump is a real escape for me at the moment and I've finally put some effort into setting and achieving my breeding goals.

Era 14 was the first time I had actively tried to keep up with the leaderboards. It has been lots of fun keeping up and I have had a few horses place on the boards over the last 6 months. My line is now on G5 and has just hit Gold/Star. It has been fun playing around with silver smokey black as a base colour. I first dicovered the colour shopping for secret santa maybe a christmas or two ago and was something I wanted to make a project out for a long time. A colour really underrepresented in the game for something so pretty.

Moving on from Era 14, we have my current new main herd sire. Winter Smoke was a super lucky auction win for mere pennies. His sire, Smokes and Roses has been my favourite E0 for a while as a Silver Smokey Black. I couldn't believe my luck when I won this boy.

Next we have my Kitchen Sink Legacy project. I don't know if anyone remembers the fantastic studio horses (Studio Ghibli, 2018) (Creative Studio, 2022). I decided to make a line bred from these two crossed with my best fantasy foundation mare to breed all these fantastic genes up to cap level. They have now reached G6 and I believe they are at cap level! I am definately considering boosting the G7's. They have turned out great, and they cross fantastically with other fantasy lines. The G3 dam from this line was definatly my favourite of the lot though, she is so pretty!

Another legacy project, I decided to reawaken my Carry It Foreward line, but a whole lot better this time. Carry it Foreward was my first proper GMT project on Hunt and Jump. Perhaps its just that I have had a big account for a while now, but back then I feel these big GMT projects were no joke. They took ALOT of saving and planning. I have always loved snowflake. I was around before we had testing for snowflake and back when we had to hunt for it (no genetic code but it could show up on creates). I was fascinated with the hunt and thrilled when I finally proved a snowflake. So snowflakes will always have a soft spot in my programmes. Back then too, special herd helpers were rare, and certainly were rare to carry the fancy genes. Cue the release of The Accomplishments of Like-Minded People. Snowflake, LP and tiger eye! I was obsessed, but life happened and I missed the release. I didn't have endless hb reserves back then. I scoured the forum and the auctions for weeks trying to get one with no luck at all. Then, one night I stayed up until 1am despite work early the next morning (all auctions used to end at the same time and sadly for me, that was 1am). I was bidding on this TAoLMP and lost it at the last second. Gutted was an understatement. The next day, I logged in and found an amazing message from @Gracie3B asking if I wanted to buy him. I then bought my first licence to go on him and added a few more pretties.
Fast foreward to today, I decided to reawaken the line with a few modern touches. I used an I Feel Love mare to add Sty+ and P+. I then added belton and kit m. I'm really thrilled with how this stock has grown, they are super pretty and have just hit Gold/Star level at G4!

This guy may not be my favorite in the game at the moment but definitely the one I'm most proud of. I feel like I'm taking forever and a day to get this line really going but I get excited when I see it coming together some.

@Ellesmere022 aw that’s really cool, I didn’t know the story behind that TAoLMP or that it would make any difference. I didn’t even remember having it, but that is a really neat story! And I’m glad I could be of help, it seems so long ago that that happened. Very heartwarming :x

@Cottonwoods I have a Moonstone too! He’s 94% inbred, but he’s one of my current favorites regardless.
