May means racing season in much of the northern hemisphere and the new Thoroughbred breed characteristic is here to celebrate. We went with a very typical off-the-track appearance for our TB and chose a very young foal for inspiration. The TB foal will be notably smaller than other BC foals.

The TB can be purchased for 5 tokens or is already available to you if you have a BC subscription.

So exited for my new TB stud to hit the ground!

One question, and I didn't notice this on the test BC when it was posted, but do the back legs of the adult seem a little short? I love it regardless, and the babies are so precocious.

The adult is meant to be like the recently raced horse that's got uphill conformation. Some of the TB lesson horses I've ridden that are older are still this shape. Front end with tall sharp withers that's probably not comfortable to ride bareback and the hind end looks lower just because the withers are SO sharp and upright.

It gives me good happy memories of lesson horses of the past :x

Some people really wanted to do away with the strong wither and uphill build and make the TB look like a warmblood. I am glad I stuck with a strong TB appearance. There will be warmbloods very soon for those who want a warmblood look.
