Perfectly Consistent - How much does it raise PT?

    By how much does GMTing a horse to be perfectly consistent increase their PT score?

    This is actually a little tricky to answer, because it's not straight forward.
    Based on observation, there seems to be a Consistency Scale. As in, two horses who rate "Consistent" might actually be slightly different levels of Consistent. I say this, because i've had Consistent horses only bump by .10 or .20 when I GMT them, but i've also had some improve by more... In fact, I just had one improve by .40 when I GMT'd for consistency, even though the horse already rated as being consistent.

    The same appears to be true for "Inconsistent" horses, however I regularly see an increase of >.30 when the horse starts as an Inconsistent horse. I also just GMT'd an Inconsistent horse, and it improved by .50.

    In summary: .10 - .40 if the horse started as Consistent.
    Pretty much guaranteed a jump of .30 or more if starting as Inconsistent.

    I've also noticed that if the horse you have is lower, like a B or red, the PT can go up quite a bit, bit if the house is 2 starred, it's always a smaller fraction of improvement

    Paper level is not linked to PT and does not tell you anything about consistency. The papers have no impact there.
