Some low end breeding testing observations
-
I have been doing some testing with breeding perfectly awfuls.
I noticed a significant discrepancy between the best possible foals you can get by breeding and the best you can get by maxing. (like a 20% ability discrepancy.) This is because there is an allowance built into the algorithm for low-end breeding to allow you to breed progressively backward. This allowance is not factored in when it comes to maxing (and I am going to leave it that way).
That means if you are breeding perfectly awfuls and trying to go up in ability you will get there significantly faster if you use maxing than if you did not.
Just wanted to share my findings. I'll make a post to share our first-year foals soon.Need to contact me? Read this first. Only send me a PM for PayPal issues or if I ask you to. Otherwise, make a forum post. You will get a better faster answer by making a post.
I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )
