Hi all, just wondering if anyone has this coat colour in their barns because I'm thinking of using it for Backwards Breeding if i can get enough horses of that colour.

I'm not sure if it's possible but if a black mane and tail can come with the coat, that'd be perfect :)

This is caused by the silver gene which removes black pigment so they can never have a black mane and tail. :)

@GrungeBunny02 Although you won't be able to have this specific coat color, you could probably get close to the color but with black mane/tail with a buckskin dun, especially if you have nd1/D . Let me see if I have some examples ....

GrungeBunny02 if you want to work on backwards breeding you need to stick to very low PT horses and avoid exceptions and rank specials.

Look for silver and cream perfectly awful horses for sale and breeding.
