So I'm creating my own line and was trying to just copy and paste the colour i like with gmts onto a different horse and he's still the same colour. He's supposed to have more noticeable dapples like the gelding I'm using as a standard. Granted, the only gmt i put on there is a >>> A because that gene was the only difference between this stallion and the model gelding. Is there something I'm missing here?

Some horses just don't get dapples. You can try reseeding their image a couple times to see if they pop, but some horses just don't like them.

There is nothing about a horse that prevents it from getting dapples. If the genetics are identical to a horse with dapples, rerolling will eventually get you dapples
