Paper levels and asterisks
  • What is the difference between stallions papered as *Star vs. **Star vs. ***Star?

Or mares papered as *Gold vs. **Gold vs. ***Gold?

Do the additional asterisks indicate increasingly better offspring? Are they connected to PT or consistency?

Thank you for reading or commenting. I hope to make friends here. Double thank you for answering my questions. I value all information that helps me create the best horses that I can.
  • The asterisks represent different breeding levels. A ***Star (or ***Gold) is a superiour breeding horse to a **Star (or **Gold), which is itself superior to *Star (or *Gold). Any Star/Gold will be better for breeding than a horse papered A/Blue.

Breeding quality quality is a separate stat and feature from PT, which is a showing ability stat. Usually, higher breeding quality horses will produce higher PT foals, but not all high breeding quality horses have high PT scores.

The "best" horses can be sort of what you define them to be.
