Anyone else frothing at the mouth for the Irish Draught BC?
-
I recently broke down and bought the PRE bc on the other server, and I adore it. I am almost obsessively checking for the Irish Draught drop as we get closer to mid-month. I want to create a sort of Irish Sport horse on this account once the TB bc comes out, and set it so that foals below a certain bone come out as TB, above it as Irish Draught. Anyone else have BC plans? Or just love the new images?

I also plan to use TB and ID together in a breed!Need to contact me? Read this first. Only send me a PM for PayPal issues or if I ask you to. Otherwise, make a forum post. You will get a better faster answer by making a post.
I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )

Please @RiverMeadows Can you explain how that could be done?
-
@OldCat I'm pretty sure I could do it if I had two breeds separated by bone, so I could have one BC set to say, the lighter bone, and the other set to the heavier bone, and as I'm breeding the foals will fall on one or the other side of that bone and come out with that BC. I think, I haven't tried it yet.Thanked by 1OldCat

I'm referencing the breed page point 2 and 3
"After creating the breed you will be able to set the name, weight rules, optional height rules, and default tattoo for this breed."
"Each breed only works for light-boned, medium-boned, or heavy-boned horses"
So I would assume if you set 2 different breeds
(10 ivs for each new breed)
The light breed would be set as TB(using weight)
The med breed would be set ID(using weight) so if breeding together
The light foals would result in TB vs med foals being ID.....if I'm correctThanked by 1RiverMeadows -
@RideOutPro exactly, that's the idea! So each baby, depending on the parents, will come out one or the other breed and have the BC of it. It would be super cool if we could set the specific number bone weights too, so a horse might be a lighter warmblood and look TB, but that's not possible, so it has to go by the light/medium/heavy.

You can do it with one breed. You don't have to put bone weight.Need to contact me? Read this first. Only send me a PM for PayPal issues or if I ask you to. Otherwise, make a forum post. You will get a better faster answer by making a post.
