You used to be able to vote up or down on a horse for popularity. Unfortunately that lead to 'cliques' forming and people voting down horses owned by people they didn't like or the group didn't like, and voting down competitors breeding or sale stock. Personally, I think the bad outweighed the good.

You can always comment and tell another member how much you like their horse :) Unfortunately, like Confluence said, "likes" can easily turn into popularity contests or leave people feeling snubbed if their horse doesn't get a lot of "likes" even if it isn't intentional.
