@Kitterskip In the forum tabs across the top (you will need to be on desktop or on full site view on mobile for these instructions) there is "Discussions Activity Inbox [username] Mark All Viewed". You want to click on your username there.

From that page, on the right side, you will see an option to "Change My Picture" which is what you're looking for.

You will also find multiple other settings there, including but not limited to the ability to set a forum signature (general courtesy suggests you not make this one too tall, the forums get messy otherwise) under Signature Settings, and the ability to tweak how you get notified (i.e. whether or not you get a red indicator for certain things, like someone @ ing your username) under My Preferences.
