Where can I find a good formula for setting a price on a rank special? What about a foal out of a rank special?

I'm sure there is, I just haven't found that post yet. Thanks!

@Duven how you price foals is going to depend on if they passed BA/SBA, paper level, PT score, genetics, and current demand. Find the right buyer and you may get a decent price if the foal is something they really want/need.

Show horses are the best way to make money in the long term. Alter and turning a foal you don't want in you breeding program into a show horse will make you a lot more than selling will. Selling will actually lose you money in the long run.

Thanks. Good to know. I'm just trying to be efficient with space and sometimes I think I've got too many yearling stallions. Though I guess today's yearling stallions can be gelded show horses in a week!
