Bootstrapping - how to pick colts?
-
Hi folks,
I am still pretty new to top tier/boosting bootstrap. I had a boy who tested sup his sire, a breeding cap non-boosted dude:
DJK SUP Daintree Doozy
He got maxed, then 5% boosted.
I then cloned him, ad 5% boosted the clone:
DJK Sup Clone Daintree
This dude is obviously superior to him!
My question now is, how do I choose which offspring from him to boost, clone, and boost again to keep climbing to 15pt? Would I just choose the best of the bunch? Is this where I should be boosting mares too, to breed a double boosted mare to my double boosted stud? (I have a hunch it is the latter.)
Thank you! -
In my thoughts, it's the latter.
Also may want to consider using higher pt horses when putting that much money into boosts and cloning :)
Also he's stunning!
