I have three foundation stallions in dire need of names. I've decided to have a contest.

1BH LTD Project 1
I have no preference on names for him.

1BH CA Project 2
I'd prefer nature inspired names. Examples of other Stallions in this line: Wood Sorrel, Red Oak.

1BL IFL Kedu Project 3
I'd prefer mushroom themed names for him. Puns, mushroom species, etc.

Prizes
If I use all or part of a name you suggest, you'll get your choice of 15 free straws to any of my foundation stallions or a grab bag of A/Blue papered foundation straws/eggs. If you can't use straws/eggs but can use embryos, I can make those at no cost.

Contest closes no earlier than the 13th of this month but may run longer if the perfect names aren't found.

1: Maidens Silk, Quicksilver, Mercury, Mad Hatter, Gunmetal, Espresso Shot (cause he reminds me of the coffee red eye)

2: Turkey tail (it’s a mushroom! He looks just like it) Sycamore, Black Walnut, Underbrush, Mountain Laurel, Blackberry, Wood Ear

3: Funguy (hahah), Inkcap, Honey Agaric, Lactarius Delisiosus, Enoki, Matsutake

Also @Lallyhop Morelly Questionable is hilarious and if OP doesn’t use it I’m totally gonna swipe it :))

@Haltanny they're gorgeous! And if you're going to sell straws from your riding pony boy, I'd love some. He's adorable. I have done the mushroom themed name for a few of mine (Lions Mane, Pleurotus). I'm a fan of those names!

Since this stalled out, I'm not going to go ahead and close this. Here's the names I've chosen:

1 Gunmetal @VenemousGiant
2 Honey Locust @StormwoodFarm
3 Morelly Questionable @Lallyhop

All these boys and any of my other foundation stallions are available for the 15 free straws. You can do a mix of any of them. Or if you want a grab bag of A/Blue paper straws or eggs, I have those too.

I'd love 6 straws from Morelly Questionable, 6 from Gunmetal, and 3 from Bald Face Lie! 50888

I don't have Ice19 yet, but I'm planning to get that one before the end of the month. :)

@Lallyhop do you have a preference on body types? The stallions are all light bone but I have light and heavy mares.

@StormwoodFarm Morel is only 2 so I'll have to send those next month. Let me know when you get ice 19 and I'll send those over (or can you get straws with genes you don't have?) I have several lined stallions that aren't named so I'll probably do another one of these in a couple weeks or so.

Heavy if you can, thank you! Maybe you could swap the boys half of the grab bag out for a couple from Gunmetal and Honey Locust instead? Whatever amount feels fair to you, of course.
