How do I futurity lock my foals?
-
I was wondering how to lock my foals, and if that gets you on the stallion futurity leaderboard.
-
Foals do not have to be locked for a stallion to qualify, unlocked foals still count. Locking just prevents foals from being sold back to the game.
You can lock foals from the the control panel of a horse's page, there should be a futurity lock button. Foals you breed from stallion's you own do not qualify, foals must come from a stallion you do not own and be the same era as the stallion. -
So if I wanted my stallion to qualify, would I have to give away some of his foals?
-
No, the foals must be bred by someone who has never owned the stallion. So you need to encourage people to breed by him, either through good performance, good genes, breeding swap, etc.~Purveyor of the finest riding horses in Rakia~

Could it be just one person?
-
Yes. A lot of people will either swap straws or sell at cost if they want to qualify a stallion for the futurity.
