Tattoos?
-
What are the tattoos really for? Are these tattoos the "brands" I see usually placed on a horses quarter? I've been wanting to make one for myself, but not sure what the tattoo should be of- I would love some ideas! :)

Yes, tattoos can be visible brands or invisible (lip tattoos) or placed in one of the corners of the frames.
My tattoos are related to a tree - I have a fancy looking tree for my bootstrap/fantasy lines, and a straight line more abstract tree (that looks more like a brand to me) for my main line.~Purveyor of the finest riding horses in Rakia~

A lot of people use tattoos for a quick way to sort through their horses. I used to brand all of my generations before I added them to the name tags. That way you can keep the names clear and still do a sort through generations in the search.
I prefer my tattoos to be simplistic, but look good on most horse colors, once I get a little crazy. I haven’t been using them much lately but they’re super useful.

I need to completely sort this account (I’ve been putting it off) so I’ll probably develop a few more to help me
