I had a basic upgrade through the welcome package with 56 days or so left. I just purchased a 1 year upgrade with IVs because why not. However, it's now saying I only have 365 days of upgrades left. Shouldn't it be 421 days since I paid for 90 days (56 left), and then for another 365 days additionally?

The upgrades won't stack. So the 365 days is the upgrade you bought with IVs. You can see this if you go to Member Home -> Account Overview -> Upgrade Manager

Okay, so I still have the 56 days, that upgrade just is not active? So when the 365 days runs out I can reactivate the 56 leftover days?

I'm pretty sure it works this way, yes. Or you can deactivate the 365 day one and activate the 56 day one, since that'll run out sooner :) So basically you have two upgrades, but only one can be active at a time

Even if you get a premium upgrade down the line your basic days will just wait for you until you need them. Or you can sell them back to the game to get some IVs.
