Changes to Ice/Nexus with gene clubs
-
HAJ is a game about realistic horse genetics. We strive to be the most realistic. We also have some fun fantasy genes. As a balance to having those fun fantasy genes they are not supposed to be in the general breeders clubs. Those should be reserved for our normal colored horses. Ice was allowed into the breeders clubs by an oversight and really should not be in there. So I am making some changes to remove ice from the clubs in time.
The ice club is now called the Fantasy Breeders Club and it allows ice and nexus horses to be registered.
Homozygous ice horses can now ONLY be registered in the Fantasy gene club. Het ice is not effected.**
You will have until Feb 1st 2017 to breed Ice out of your LB lines for other clubs. ***
**I did some testing this morning and looked at all the ice horses on the LBs both het and hom for ice. There is not really that many. I also found that there are exceedingly few hom ice horses on the LBs. Not even the Ice Club really had any that where trophy contenders. I feel comfortable blocking hom ice registries now because it won't be taking away any potential trophies.
***You have less time then HJ1 because it is based on having enough time to breed replacement horses. You breed faster then they do.Need to contact me? Read this first. I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )

"you will have until february first 2017 to breed Ice out of your LB lines for other clubs"
Does that just mean that they'll just be deleted out of the breeders clubs after february 1st?

Nope! Not a single horse will be booted from any clubs. You simply will be unable to register new ones. Some people bred ice into their LB lines. If I just said no more ice can be entered into these clubs these people would be stuck with lines that produce large numbers of ineligible foals. The grace period gives them time to get the ice out of those lines if they still want to compete in those clubs.Need to contact me? Read this first. I must admit most of my LB horses are ICE, including the #1 LB stallion, and #2 LB mare in the game! But I still understand the change, good to have somewhere for Nexus and anything else special you come up with in the future. Bit sad for some of my lines, my main LB line here, and my newer ICE lines on HJ1 but I'll get over it :)

Ahhh I get it now. I was just trying to understand and I realize why I didnt...because I totally wasnt thinking of the fact that similar to Nexus before, if a horse has Ice it won't be able to be registered in the OTHER clubs I was only thinking of the previous Ice club lol. So now I understand why that was said lol. Silly me.
