Yes! You know I’m down for show ponies. I’m trying to hit 100k by the end of 2023 :)) so I always need more show horses. Wanna throw up a handful for me? Surprise ponies are fine haha.

Horsey2 - for show horses, you don't need to have the license. It only restricts you from purchasing and breeding the intact horses, unless something changed and I missed it.
I'll get 25 of them up for you shortly, and I'll see if I can find any with Macchiato. :)

Hey all. It’s been sort of a crazy stressful week with real life events. I’m not ignoring you! I will get your horses posted as soon as mood and time allow.
It may or may not be time to put my beloved geriatric wiener dog down (vet appointment to discuss quality of life on Monday) and I am struggling very much with that. But sharing ponies with everybody brings me joy

I'm working on show pony grab bags this evening :)

Ginger seems to have decided she just wanted to scare me, because the last couple of days have been awesome. I made some changes to the way I do things with/for her, and some of the concerning behavior patterns have disappeared. We are definitely still having The Discussion with our vet on Monday, but I've stopped crying incessantly (thank goodness, the headaches were killing me).
I found a very useful Quality of Life tool online, and it along with a few other articles helped me put my worries into a little bit of perspective.
Basically, you rate 7 areas of your dog's well-being on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being excellent, then you add up the score at the end. A perfect score is 70, and the suggested cutoff for ending hospice care is 35.
Ginger got 46 when I filled it out a couple of days ago, so we are definitely getting close if even if we aren't there quite yet.

For those of you interested in Ginger's progress, our visit with the vet was very positive today.
I showed our doc videos I took over the last week and the notes I made, and I've set up a tracker in my BuJo to review her Quality Of Life Scale numbers every few days.
We added a pain medication and discussed enrichment activities, which are pretty much limited to a snuffle mat, a lickimat, and going outside together to just sit and sniff the air. Everything looks good for now, and we will be continuing hospice care.
I am overjoyed. Ginger was here for me when I had literally nothing else, and she helped me choose my wife. Dogs are great judges of character, right? ;;)

You’re right, pets are a great judge of character ;) (my future wife’s cats are obsessed with me, and my dog an cat love her, Haha)
