Scrolling search pages on PC is frustrating - anyone else?
-
Does anyone else play on PC and find the new scrolling search page to be frustrating? I'm not sure if this is a feature or a bug. I'm constantly having to click outside the scrolling frame in order to scroll my page down or use the page down button, then I select a horse and try to scroll and again have to click outside again, rinse and repeat.Folly's Fantasies #43484 (she/her): Horses, straws, and eggs from my Doubleskunk tribute herd are always free.

I just gave it a try, and I think if you zoom your display out a bit you can scroll using the main scroll bar. The search scroll bar doesn't seem to move very much.

I noticed a scrolling issue on my phone. I can't remember what page so I'll pay more attention tomorrow.

I usually have my browser set to 80% for this game. 100% is too big, I don't like it when the horse names take more than one line in the barn view, and I like to see more of the horse's information than I can when I'm set to 100%. I'll set it to 100% for tonight just to see if the scroll issue resolves.
(Note that zoom settings are monitor-specific, and 80% is just what is visually preferable for me on my desktop PC. On my laptop, with a much smaller screen, I usually have it at 75% to avoid the text wrap, which means squinting... so I only play on the laptop when I have time at work or if I'm quarantined in the bedroom with an illness.)Folly's Fantasies #43484 (she/her): Horses, straws, and eggs from my Doubleskunk tribute herd are always free. -
I hear you, Folly! I keep mine at 80% usually, but work sent me home with an extra screen and I can put those hard to see pages up there and, voila! visible!

People keep telling me how nice it is to have multiple monitors. I've never had a setup like that. I think about it off and on when someone mentions it.
I wonder if it would bug me if the monitors were different sizes? Because I've got a 32-inch curved screen monitor and no way will two of those fit in this space!Folly's Fantasies #43484 (she/her): Horses, straws, and eggs from my Doubleskunk tribute herd are always free. -
I have a 40 inch monitor with eyecare and I have no problem at 100%. I use Bravo as the browser.
I am faster on my computer for auctions than iPad. Of course I like opening all 3 servers at once and don't know how to do that on the iPad. lol. -

The breed info popup was removed from the search page. It caused annoying overflow scrolling and I don't have the capacity to try and prevent that right now. It will have to be on the horse page only until we find a better way to display the info.Need to contact me? Read this first. Only send me a PM for PayPal issues or if I ask you to.
