Once again encouraging everyone to join the Discord server-even if not breeding hardcore for futurities. We are buckling down to finish qualifying 25 stallions for each Era, and making sure there are backups just in case a few die (there are a few older stallions on several boards).

Several people mentioned not joining because they don't know anything about Discord but it is very straight forward and we have wonderful people who are happy to spend time "showing you around" so don't let that discourage you :x

Perks of the Discord include:
-Era specific chats to post stallions individually. These chats are to post stallion ads by Era. Once people request straws (or LC), Admin delete requests to keep the channel clean and straightforward.
-Notifications when someone talks to you specifically (requesting straws, sent straws, etc)
-Mare advertising to post mares/eggs you have available to use covers/straws for
-Baby Zone to show off babies from Member stallions (there are some absolute stunners there)
-General chat! Naturally HAJ people are friendly and chatty, even if you are not hard-core futurity breeding we welcome you to join in low key, chat and see what we are up to. We have made lots of friends we didn't have prior!
-People that pull their weight! We don't just post stallions to breed, most of our members breed HUNDREDS of futurity babies a year, because they can. (Though it is NOT a requirement)

Yes discord is very easy to learn! I’m one of the admins on the chat and I’ve been using discord for years, so you can always join and then message me directly on discord or even here on Haj if you have any questions you don’t want to post in the main chat. We are all very friendly and it’s honestly such a great group! I also own the Breeding Circle buddy chat, which you are welcome to join as there are lots of 1hb breedings.
We are having a lot of fun! Come join us! There’s no risk or hard requirements as you can join and then just hang out, and since it’s chill Haj folks there’s still no game drama (one of my absolute favorite things about this game!)
Having this kind of teamwork and friendship going has really been such a nice addition to the game for me and I think for everyone else too. I’ve also gotten to talk to a lot of players who’s breeding programs I admire, which is so cool!

I was wondering, would it be possible for "updates" to be made of Eras that will soon be "At risk" per season if members of the discord find out? For example stallions aging out, 5 year olds aging up, etc? I'm not part of the discord but do try to help, but it's difficult to find the time to comb through every era and every stud by myself

Fortunately pretty much all the studs we used as fills were done in the same month so they’ll all need to be redone around the same time. ^_^

Good point there pestilenttempest! Although I do feel it might be a touch easier to gradually do a little bit each season rather than a mad dash for everyone lol
