To keep a long story/explanation short, 2022 has not been an easy one (as I’m sure most people can relate).
With sky high inflation, even as a partner in our business, a lack of respect and significantly low compensation has led me to seek a different career path, and I’ve decided to follow my dreams of becoming an ultrasound tech, regardless of the obstacles in my way!

The closest sonography school is 4 hours away from me, and with the business and our toddler, that just isn’t possible for me, and there is no online form of schooling. So today is the day that I reached out to the director of diagnostic imaging at our local leading hospital, inquiring about possibility or tips for on job training to gain hours to sit for certification! There are also a few privately owned ultrasound clinics that I will also be reaching out to if he declines.

Some may or may not know how big of a step this is for me. As a former kid with helicopter parents, I’ve become a very timid person, and have mostly let others make my decisions, but it feels like I’m finally taking control of my life and headed into the direction I was meant for <3<br />

I also just found out I had brought my credit score up by 56 points since this last fall!
With all the wrong choices I’ve made in life, it’s nice to know I’ve made a couple right ones too
