I am pretty new to the game and would like to know if there is a way to buy foundation appaloosas? mares particularly. any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

You can often get them through Rank Special creates. You can also check the auction and sales by searching for horses with LP.

You could start by using the search function. You can further edit parameters, but I went ahead and got it started for you. I searched for sale or auction, mares, foundation, and must have LP.
