This game is sadly more of a marathon than a sprint. The absolute best way to get money is to build your show herd. I get about 48k hbs every single day, and that's on the low-ish end.

The best way to get money fast that I can think of is not always accessible for people. This would be selling RS, especially those that are rare and only pop up at certain times. Some RS can get to 250k easily. The best way to check the average price is to go to Member Home -> Account and Stable Management -> My Herd Helper Collection. This will open up a new page, giving you a list of all Rank 6 (Rank Special) HHs, the amount you own, the amount in the game, and the average price they have sold for.

In saying that the market in the game is very fickle. Selling a horse can be quick and earn you a lot one day, and the next day you aren't able to sell any at all. Good news though is that licenses can be bought at any time if it is just the license you want.
