On the "Go IV Shopping" page, under basic upgrade, it says:

"Partial advanced breeding lab access allowing for the collection, use, and sale of straws, and embryo transfer."

I thought for embryo transfer you have to be able to collect eggs, and that ability is only with a premium upgrade.

Looks like basic you can create a single embryo to freeze (egg/semen) for basic. Premium you can store/flush/mass flush eggs without creating the embryo at that time for more flexible future use.

There are two ways to create an embryo. One from an egg, and one from the mare directly. If I'm understanding it correctly you can create an embryo from a mare with the basic upgrade and implant it, but you cannot pull an egg from said mare.

Okay, so basically making an embryo instead of the foal but delaying the actual birth until whenever it's actually implanted. Makes sense. Thanks!
