Sable?
-
What combo of genes will produce sable champagne in the game?
-
Is a variation of brown, so it needs at least one E and one A.
Then it needs darkening genes, just like chocolate palomino is palomino with enough darkening genes.
Sty and DP are darkening.
Newer research has found the number of E and A genes also has an effect. AA is lighter than Aa, and Ee is lighter than EE. For the game purposes, you can say that the lighter genotype works as -1 and the darker genotype works as +1. I believe the horse needs +4 total to be called brown. So EeAA dpdp StySty has Ee (-1), AA (-1), StySty (+2), and would be bay with a score of 0. True breeding brown listed below has EE (+1), AA (-1), DpDp StySty (+4), making the total +4, so it's brown.
True breeding brown can be EE AA DpDp StySty. If you breed 2 horses with those genes, all foals are brown.
Any combination that makes brown, with a champagne gene, is Sable champagne. -

This post has more details and a spreadsheet you can use to determine what will and won't be brown. -
Thanks!
