Venting, and talking about service animals
-
I’m back, writing to y’all, my Pixel Pony Pals, about today and how obnoxious it was.
I switched to a new doc today, unfortunately. I knew it was going to go bad the first five minutes. This one started immediately telling me I “probably don’t” have things I was already diagnosed with by other doctors. Mind you, this doc wasn’t even in those fields. Just thought it was her business to tell me I’m not actually sick- which is ridiculous, because I am very, very sick and have been for a long time. By the end of the appointment I was super annoyed, and didn’t get any help that I needed.
I got blamed by my family for it “going bad” and for being sick in the first place. They are very vocal on that they think my health makes me a failure. I consider myself a success because I’m alive. I’m even aging up in a few short days!
I am not one who has a loving family who cares about my survival. I wish the situation was different, but to them I am just a burden to bear. It’s exhausting to know this.
I plan to move in with my soulmate in a few years, we are long distance now. i love planning for our future. I have a service dog who’s excellent, but I know eventually she will have to retire. She’s around five now, so the time isn’t that far away.
If I’m still kicking by then, I really want to have a service mini horse. Solves my missing horses issue, also minis can do tasks that would be better suited to my needs. Someone I know has one, and they definitely are a good option for me.
So instead of wallowing about all the cruddy stuff today, I’m going to think about my future service equine, and a little home in the country where things will be peaceful. I can wade through the chaos as long as I have that to look forward to. I’ll probably name the horse something ridiculous that sounds like it’s from the haj randomizer. Acorn Moshpit or Bunny Alarm or something :-))
Daydream with me! Give me some silly randomizer sounding names to write down for my future fuzzbucket. Haj has ruined me for naming animals, I love silly ones now.Continuing my reign as the most annoying player on the forums and hgg’s favorite butch lesbian cowboy

You are appreciated and cared for.
Acorn Moshpit for the win. I can just see a scurry of squirrels moshing to the Wild Acorns Band. :))Folly's Fantasies #43484 (she/her): Horses, straws, and eggs from my Doubleskunk tribute herd are always free. -
I agree I think Acorn Moshpit is a hilarious name, I’m not sure I could top it as far as silliness. The idea of a tiny little horse with the word “Moshpit” in its name is so funny. I should give it a mohawk and some doc martens. And a little halter with acorns on it, haha! I love squirrels so if Acorn Moshpit lures them, then all the better :-)
And thank you @FolliesFantasies :xContinuing my reign as the most annoying player on the forums and hgg’s favorite butch lesbian cowboy

As a fellow spoonie, keep hanging in there.
Acorn Moshpit is a fantastic name!
My favorite the generator has given me was Evaluate Possum Warning.
Dabbler in EVERYTHING. -
@CeffylDwr, you too my friend. I hope you have easier days soon.
I find it hilarious that my brain came up with Acorn Moshpit while I was typing this post. I just might have to use it. Evaluate Possum Warning is also hilarious and I love it!Continuing my reign as the most annoying player on the forums and hgg’s favorite butch lesbian cowboy

I live on possum trot road; when our family was first considering moving from Pennsylvania to Tennessee, the name really caught my eye ;)
I again wish you a happy, healthy birthday. Sorry you had a crummy day, but I LOVE acorn moshpit =)) -
@Waly Possum trot road is a great name haha. So funny. I lived on the VA/TN line some years ago and the names of stuff out there sure is something. I hope you have a great holiday season!Continuing my reign as the most annoying player on the forums and hgg’s favorite butch lesbian cowboy

I have so much trauma from doctors refusing to believe I was/am sick. It wasn't until I had an MRI showing all the stroke damage in my brain that they finally started to listen to me. It is absurd that we have to be dying in this country to get medical care. :(Need to contact me? Read this first. Only send me a PM for PayPal issues or if I ask you to. Otherwise, make a forum post. You will get a better faster answer by making a post.
I sometimes get busy and miss things. If your private message, question, etc. gets missed please ping me so I can follow up with you. I am also always happy to explain or clarify. (HAJ does not have a customer service email, please send me a forum message! )

@Ammit I’m sorry you’ve had strokes too. They are rough. I’ve had two so far. Docs still try to deny I had them, despite having been through rehabilitation in a hospital’s stroke ward, and having been diagnosed. It’s illogical! I get yelled at a lot for using my mobility aids by doctors- like sorry, do you want me to fall and dislocate joints haha?? Most days I’m completely unable to walk and use a wheelchair. Even folks who are dying can’t get help. I have friends who are dying and they still get blown off by docs! It’s so bad. I’m also part of other minority groups, so it all stacks up unfortunately.
This country is so difficult to survive in if you aren’t healthy. So many of us are stuck in bad living situations- like myself- just so we can survive. Disability and chronic illness are hard. Sending you all the good energy, I hope you get some softer days soon and your docs listen to you in the new year. You don’t deserve to be treated like that!Continuing my reign as the most annoying player on the forums and hgg’s favorite butch lesbian cowboy

I have a shetland pony, and i think a mini would be an adorable service animal. People go nuts when learnng about service ponies. Here are some of his nicknames incase you want some inspo for naming: The most comon thing we call him is lil' Grabbies, as he is very mouthy, Handsome potato, Dont eat that, chaos potato, and lil crazies.
