SBA Passed, AGA Foals
-
What does everyone do with the foals that pass SBA but test AGA to their parents? It’s only the second generation, but I have several foals that test AGA, one that papered the same but tested superior, and two that papered higher than the parents.
I’m not sure if I should speld the ones that test aga, or sell them, or keep them in their own section to try breeding better in the third gen. -
I speld and throw into the show barn or if they have genes I really love, I'll spend the GMTs on a boost and use them in breeding.Forest 54250 | Bluegrass 272432 | Mesa 9056

@Mensie thank you so much! I’ll start doing that :)

You can also now use a Max Out Ability on them to see if they can be superior. (They should be as long as the parents are the same paper.) it does cost 5 gmts though.
Before Max boost was a thing I spay/neuter and throw in show herd or to auction depending on their pt. -
@pestilenttempest I always forget about Max Out Ability, I’ll definitely do that to the ones with extra special genes, and just speld the rest. I’m doing max egg flushes for this first breeding, so it can be costly to do the whole foal herd
